The L.O.S.E.R. Project

Welcome to the L.O.S.E.R. Project!

News

28 feb 2002 [Pflipp]:

The LEDGE 0.1 has been released. This should become our game development IDE and is, although in alpha stage, already well on its way. At least, that's what I'm thinking myself :-) See the files section on SourceForge if you're interested, be sure to read the release notes first.

21 feb 2002 [Pflipp]:

Today I finally found out how the level editor works. Thought I might document it as well directly. Other stuff (the data editor) is still in the making. It all depends on having enough spare time, which I can't predict.

Our goal

Our goal is to foster Free Software game development by making available the finest sidescroller game engine, tools, protocols, file formats and arts available to the community, as well as releasing and hosting complete games based on this software.

Our efforts are currently focused on the L.O.S.E.R game engine and the LEDGE game IDE. When these are finished, anyone knowing how to use a mouse will be able to make himself a game within just about the time it will take him to think up a good plot.
